MemoryMiner Fanmail ContentI am fascinated by MemoryMiner. As a teacher of Visual Communication at the undergrad University level, I see all sorts of possibilities for using this in the classroom - particularly in the task of teaching Visual Essay. (REALLY - I'm so excited right now after looking at your demo and exploring your site that I've got butterflies in my stomach!) This will flip my visual essay class on its head because I will now be able to teach students how to plan and storyboard in a fluid way. I am also thrilled at the synchronicity embedded in the kinds of connections you allow between time and space. This is an awe inspiring tool. Thank you! - R.O. Rhode Island I feel as if you invented this software just for me! I hadn't imagined this kind of amazing source of collective memory being created. I am so excited for you and for me too! Of course, I have many suggestions for improvements, since I have been using it for hours straight after my husband excitedly told me about it. - S.M. New Jersey I just heard about MemoryMiner from some MacWorld blogs and tried it last night. Great, great, great product - bravo. I've been talking about someone putting all the pieces together for a while and you have done an amazing job for a 1.0 release. After using it for 15 minutes, I grabbed my credit card and bought it! M.K. Massachussettes Dear MemoryMiner team, I.M. Nevada MemoryMiner is an ideal application for digital storytellers who are interested in documenting their personal archives of photographs and scrapbooks. Much more than a photo organizer, MemoryMiner allows users to notate important details contained in photographs including people, places and dates. MemoryMiner's ability to cross reference this information, plus the unique ability to add audio, video and text to each photo is invaluable to the scripting and storyboarding process essential to crafting digital stories. The network connectivity aspect of Memory Miner allows family and friends across the world to engage and participate in the building a shared family archive. It's a great tool for family and personal historians or anyone interesting in preserving their treasured photographs and stories. Denise Atchley |
